Medical Scholarships and Loans
Since 1992, Mary Rutan Foundation has awarded 2.6 million dollars in scholarships and loans to residents of Logan County pursuing a degree in the medical field.
In 2023, the Foundation expanded its program to offer scholarships to specific high schools in Auglaize, Champaign and Hardin counties. They are Graham, Urbana, Upper Scioto Valley and Waynesfield-Goshen. Most recently, Jackson Center, Ridgemont and Kenton were added to this list of eligible high schools.
Mary Rutan Foundation is committed to the residents of our service areas. We understand the importance of investing in the future of those pursuing careers in the medical field. We believe this program is an investment in the future of healthcare at Mary Rutan Health and for the residents whom we serve.

EMT Basic Scholarships
Mary Rutan Foundation is proud to support local Emergency Medical Personnel and their efforts in Logan County by providing EMT Basic scholarships to help increase the number of EMTs in Logan County. Scholarships are $1,000 with $500 payable for enrolling in an EMT Basic program and $500 payable at completion of the program.
Eligibility requirements:

- Work for or volunteer with a Logan County squad for two years after certification or pay back scholarship
